Catherine Kanter

Project Architect

Catherine, a licensed architect based in our Jackson Hole studio, graduated from Tulane University with a bachelor’s degree in communications.

During her studies in New Orleans, she realized an interest in architecture for its ability to impact and represent communities. She went on to earn a Masters of Architecture degree from the University of Texas  where she gained an appreciation for the built form through hands-on experience in metal working. Her Northworks projects in the mountain west have included residential projects suited to serve generations of families for years to come. This collaboration and design focus has been a joy to Catherine.

Inspired by travel and outdoor adventures, Catherine was drawn to our Jackson studio from her hometown in coastal Virginia but always makes time to visit her friends and family on the east coast. Outside of the studio, she enjoys spending time with loved ones and enjoying all of the cultural and outdoor activities her mountain town life has to offer.

I believe in design as a vehicle to positively impact and represent individuals and communities within the built community. Approaching each project as an opportunity to do so is what I enjoy most.
